Hari OM!  I could not have been more blessed if I had been on a pilgrimage to sacred sites in the Himalayas, for that in essence is what the Dharma Sevak Course of June 2009 was to me. Sacred is the place (Krishnalaya) where Truth is acknowledged, spoken, and taught with clarity, and such a spot not only has rarefied energy but purifies and elevates the energy of those who are privileged to visit. Being immersed in Truth has had a cleansing effect, for I now find it easier to cling to the simple Truths of Reality. I am more grounded in the Truth that I am not a body (B/M/I), that my Self is Spirit ("Consciousness is Brahman"), and that the ever-changing world of duality and separation is a fleeting dream. I am more keenly aware when I forget Truth and project error. I am now more dedicated to witnessing the contents of my mind -- to moment by moment choose Truth and Reality over error and illusion -- to see my mind (consciousness) as an altar where I worship Divinity by setting aside the agitation of illusions and choosing instead the Truth of peace and love. Although the details of the experience of the Dharma Sevak Course will fade with time, the Truth acknowledged, spoken, and taught will remain.

It is very impressive to see the analytical mind & the process by which Swami Vidyaranya supported & expounded a verse from the Upanishad. Guruji's classes are the guiding light in our lives. The vibrations during the morning meditation with Br. PrabodhJi, set the days on solid divine footing. The whole two weeks of DSC, away from our (individual) Sansar, is the greatest blessing of Chinmaya Mission that one can receive. It is indeed a divine Prasad.

[2008] This was our 10th anniversary as Guruji started DSC in 1998. Krishnalaya is one of the Chinmaya Dham and as other Chinmaya Dhams, very special place and close to our hearts.
Listening to 18 chapters of Geeta, was a very special treat. We were very fortunate to Listen to Guruji's latest Aarati composition on Ganeshji and celebrating Krishna Janmashtami on the concluding day.
Left Krishnalaya, to come back again and again and wishing from God to give more faith in Him and Love for Guruji.

Getting this opportunity to attend the DSC has been a "once in a lifetime" and and eye-opening event for me. Not just me but my surroundings --- my family, friends, well wishers appear to be on this journey with me. Participating and completing this course is truly actualizing my belief that all you need is one right step, and He takes the rest ten steps for you. The DSC 2008 is hard to put in words, as it needs to be experienced. The Himalayan-like environment, with the splendor of natural beauty and silence was perfect for spiritual sadhana for 15 days. Swami Tejomayananda-ji was just incredible in his depth of knowledge and tremendous communication skills with ample humor. This year, we got a surprise bonus of listening to Swamiji's commentary on all 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita. I also valued the satsang with other attendees. I highly recommend it to all spiritual seekers.
